Lee Lennard
Lee Lennard is President and CEO of BGE, Inc. and was named the 2025 Houston Engineer of the Year by the Houston Engineers Week Committee. With over 37 years of experience, he has served communities across the U.S. and abroad through his engineering expertise and heart for others. Lee has also volunteered with Katy Responds for many years, sharing his time and talents to help families in need.

Ron Peters
Originally from Michigan, Ron moved to Texas in 1990. He began volunteering with Katy Responds, where his passion for helping families led to roles as Construction Manager, Executive Director, CEO, and now a board member.
Ron and his wife, Jody, have five children and six grandchildren. They also lead marriage ministry events. Before Katy Responds, Ron worked as an independent contractor and sales director in the industrial supply industry.

Rick Bresler
Rick joined Katy Responds' Board in 2023 after years of contributing to their work. With a dual-industry career in oil and gas and finance, he brings diverse business acumen to the governing body. Rick is passionate about inspiring others to get involved and be part of a mission that brings hope.

Mark Carroll
Mark, a fifth-generation Texan from South Texas, moved to Katy over 25 years ago with his wife, Kristi. They have 2 children, Kayla (a Texas A&M graduate) and Reid (a sophomore at Texas State). Mark has a successful career in commercial real estate development. Kristi is active in local organizations like NCL and YMSL, through which Mark was introduced to Katy Responds.

Albert Perez
Albert Perez, a fifth-generation Texan from Pearland, is the founder of a financial services agency focused on helping families and businesses build lasting financial security. With over 20 years in commercial construction and strong community ties through local leadership roles, Albert brings practical experience and a heart for service to Katy Responds.

Rachel Soto
Rachael Soto is the President and Founder of ENVI Engineering, a Houston-based commissioning and mechanical engineering firm. A Texas Licensed Professional Engineer with more than 23 years of experience, she specializes in high-performance building systems, energy optimization, and commissioning. Rachael has led more than 100 projects across healthcare, education, government, and commercial sectors, helping clients achieve efficient, sustainable building performance.
